Fine Arts for Tots
Voice of the City has a long history teaching the youngest children, ages 6 mos to 5 years. Our programs focus on fostering creativity, in our little ones and their caregivers, giving families the tools to bring the classroom into the home. Raising toddlers is tough—they are new humans every month! VOTC’s artist/teachers nurture caregivers, and help build their confidence and affirm their creative impulses to support the development of children’s and adults’ artistic spirit.

Come sing, dance, and be merry in this fun music class to give children the fundamentals of music and to help develop the creative parent. A combination of classic children's songs, interactive fingerplays, and modern pop music will get the whole room's voices singing and feet tapping. A diverse repertoire encourages acceptance and bonding, plus movement activities will get little wiggles out and get the blood flowing in kids and adults alike! Hablamos un poco de español.

Calling the youngest of actors! If you love pretending and make believe, this is the class for you. We'll read stories, get to be different animals, and practice our turn taking in games designed to share our own ideas and be good listeners and audience members as well. Drop off class, culminates in a final open class for friends and family!
